Schoola fundraising works for TK!

Dear Friends and Parents of TK

I have an aversion to fund raisers in general, because I really don’t like harassing and bugging my clients, who are already paying me tuition for their children’s schooling. But Kari has come up with a very viable way for you to help TK (or any school of your choice), with no out of pocket expense and very little hassle, save for the cleaning out of your closets and dressers, which we all tend to do this time of year, anyhow. It is called “Schoola”, and I love it!

The Schoola program really works! Thank you bunches and bundles to Kari for setting this up for our school (Terri’s Kids)! Here is how you can help, if you want to:

• You can buy gently used clothes from this site at bargain prices, and $2 of every $5 goes to TK.
• You can donate your gently used clothes to this site, in our school’s name, and $2 of every $5 made from selling those clothes goes to our school. Or, if you prefer,
• You can bring your gently used clothes directly to TK and we will send it in for you.

The money earned will go towards buying new play toys for our playground.
TK has already received our first check! Look how much we have earned so far!

Thank  you thank you THANK YOU!

  1. I am so excited that this is working. I think it’s an incredible way to raise money for our kids!!! Who doesn’t have extra clothes laying around that they never wear or just don’t want anymore. And if you have ever needed the “excuse” to feel better when you want to go buy something new for yourself, this always helps. Thanks for spreading the word about this. TK kids are going to benefit from this all and isn’t that worth it?!!!!!!!!!!

It is sooooo worth it! And Bob and I have already started shopping for new tricycles and scooters for TK. I got three bags of clothes delivered to my door today for us to bag up and send to schoola, and another client has promised some, as well! Yippee! 🙂 (We need to order more bags?)

  2. Sounds like a great idea. Everybody has stuff. This is a form of group funding, yes?

I think it is a great idea! I’m loving it, and so appreciative to my friend Kari who set it up for TK. I don’t really know what group funding is, but I think the Schoola website really explains this concept well. If you donate clothes for Schoola to sell, and indicate that you want it to benefit sppecifically our Terri’s Kids school, then we will get 2$ of every 5$ made! I love how Schoola even sends you postage pre-paid bags to stuff your clothing donations into… the whole system is just so well thought out! And…it really WORKS!
