Sailboat Spectrum

IMG_2298BEFORE! I took this shot down at Mission Bay, California, one foggy morning while Bob was metal detecting. At first I didn’t like it, because, obviously, it was very grainy. But I saved it until I could get home, and I opened it up in Photo shop and started playing around with color/hue/saturation and layers.

I really liked the texture of the graininess, when it got right down to it. And I didn’t mind the “gray” aspect nearly as much as Bob would (he’s addicted to color!) but I didn’t like the dinginess of it.

In the end, I went a little wild, and I like the end result. What do you think?
